I recently was lucky enough to try out some of the Pure Beginnings products and really I was blown away by how much I loved them! The Pure Beginnings Hydrating Body Lotion is an amazingly moisturising lotion that goes on easily and really does feel as though you’ve treated your skin. I loved the fragrance too – it’s a very earthy and natural scent which I found to be most pleasant. It contains coconut oil, kigelia (sausage tree) and marula too – a sublime combination!  I also tried the Pure Beginnings Eco roll on which is fragrance free – as well as being aluminium free. I much prefer an unscented deodorant, and this one really works. Pure Beginnings does have a range of roll ons so there are scented ones too for those who prefer.

The Vanilla Mint toothpaste went down a treat in our household with all members vying for a chance to claim it (adults and children alike!)! What I really liked about it is that is that it has quite a subtle flavour – not overpowering like the commercial toothpastes available out there. The vanilla gently balances out the mint, and makes for an interesting taste sensation! There’s no fluoride in the toothpaste (yay!), so it’s suitable for children of all ages. Other products in the babies and kids range include shampoos, lotions, bubble bath, and an organic insect repellent.

I had a look on the PURE BEGINNINGS website to find out more – I learned that they started up in 2007 mainly as a skincare brand for babies and children, but over the last eight years have expanded to include adult skincare products too. The company adheres to a strict policy regarding ingredients, using botanicals specifically chosen for their mildness and suitability to sensitive skin. Ingredients are also rapidly bio degradable thereby being environmentally friendly. No ingredients are tested on animals, and the packaging used is recyclable.

I absolutely love this range of skincare products which the whole family can use. All the products are so gentle on the skin, and it’s so good to know that one can buy with confidence, knowing that there’s nothing harmful in any of the beautifully packaged Pre Beginnings products!
