MEA MARKET MAGAZINE REWARDS EXCELLENCE WITH THE 2019 AFRICAN EXCELLENCE BUSINESS AWARDS

“Excellence is the gradual result of always striving to do better …” – Pat Riley

MEA Markets Magazine recently announced the winners of its 2019 African Excellence Business Awards. These Awards aim to highlight those who go above and beyond, recognising these organisations for their stellar work. According to MEA Markets Magazine, the 2019 African Excellence Business Awards specifically focused on businesses “across but not limited to industries such as, energy, agriculture, mining and tourism to uncovering the innovators in disciplines like banking, technology and real estate development.” The Awards aim to showcase the best organisations in these industries from across the continent.

The process of selecting the winners of such awards is no easy task and reportedly, MEA Markets Magazine does not take this task lightly. There is a strict protocol to be followed. This process is outlined as a “rigorous and in-depth nomination, voting and judging process, carried out by (a) network of global industry experts and in-house team.” Every nominee’s performance over the year preceding the nomination is thoroughly investigated and evaluated based on their delivery of products and/or services, their willingness to innovate, and their performance in comparison to other organisations that would be seen as competition to them within their field.

Another more specific focus of this year’s selection seemed to be on selecting companies that were succeeding despite current socio-economic challenges. In a recent press release released by MEA Markets Magazine it was stated that “Although the economy is fluctuating, we believe in Og Mandino’s words: Always seek out the seed of triumph in every adversity.”

JJ Coetzee“Of course, as an organisation it is always imperative to strive for the best, but what these awards allow for is the further motivation that is created by a community that holds you to a better standard. It is incredibly motivating to be recognised for such prestigious awards and in my experience, it propels you forward to continued, better success,” explains Award winner, John J Coetzee, CEO of Green Worx Cleaning Solutions.

Green Worx Cleaning Solutions was among this year’s selection of winners. The organisation received the award for Best Green Cleaning Solutions Providers – South Africa.
